Welcome

Thank you for reading. Wherever you are in your life right now, I want you to know that you are not alone. You may have found yourself thinking “things just can't go on like this” or maybe “I need help.” Thank you for taking this courageous first step in investing in yourself. Unfortunately, stigma surrounding going to therapy still exists, meaning many won't get the care that might change their life. I'm glad you are here to get one step closer to your goals.

Choosing a therapist is not easy, so I will tell you a bit about my approach so you can see if we'd make a good fit. Since therapy is not a one-size-fits-all, I choose to draw from a range of modalities to tailor my approach to find what works best for each of my clients. Some specific modalities I draw from are mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I am client-centered and prioritize transparency, authenticity, and trust in my practice. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive.

Life is full of challenges, and some challenges are easier to talk about than others. I hope you find the space we cultivate a safe place where you feel the freedom to share the challenges that feel impossible to talk about. Here you will find support, honesty, empathy, and no judgement. If you are ready for the first step toward growth and healing, I am ready to support you along the way!

About Me

I've always been drawn to psychology. When I was studying Cognitive Science for my bachelor's, I really started to connect with the idea of using data-driven, evidence-based research to understand human behavior. The human mind and the way we think is such a complex puzzle, and I find it fascinating to explore why we do what we do and think the way we think. Even though therapy is an art in many ways, there is a scientific basis to how we approach things—and I'm always focused on finding better answers so I can provide better care.

My journey into therapy started with a question: how can I best serve the world and make it a better place? I love the quote by Paul Shane Spear,

As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person.

It really resonates with me because that's what I hope to do through my work. My passion is about helping people, lifting them up, and doing anything I can to make the world a little better—one person at a time.

At one point in my life, I was in a pretty dark place. I know what it feels like to be stuck in the kind of place where you don't know how to keep going. But I'm here now, and I'm living proof that it's possible to make it out. That experience is why I do what I do—I want others to know that no matter how deep it feels, there's always a way through. My mission is to help people realize that whatever they're going through, they can make it to the other side and feel whole again.

The way I work is a blend of science and empathy. I have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, but I also know that each person is unique, and therapy is deeply personal. I'm here to work alongside you, to listen without judgment, and to create a safe space where you can heal and grow at your own pace.

I'm not just a therapist—I'm a human who cares, and I truly believe in the power of the work we do together.
